Residential Care

Residential care is a type of care given to an individual who is struggling to upkeep their household or personal regime. Many people prefer to live in a residential care home because it provides them with security, social opportunities, and ongoing support. Residential care provides a group living setting where residents no longer need to worry about the hassles of everyday chores such as cleaning, washing, cooking and administrative duties. Instead, residents can enjoy private en suite accommodation and focus on the things that bring them joy while we wait on them hand and foot which includes providing home-cooked meals that are considerate of dietary requirements.

Residential care is designed to enhance residents’ social and emotional well-being. We believe that meeting more than just the basic personal care requirements for our residents will allow them to prosper by providing an engaging and loving environment. Our mission is to supply those receiving residential care with the highest quality of life and our teams will go out of their way to make this happen.

Respite Care

We offer respite care which provides short-term care for those caring for their loved ones with a well-deserved break from their caregiving duties. Dedicated members of the team will take care of your relative and ensure all health and well-being needs are met.

Respite Care is also suited to those who require some time out from their daily life after suffering from an illness or injury. Residents can fully rest and recover in the capable hands of our care teams until they feel well enough to return to normal life. This care type can be used as a way of trialling a luxury care home for someone considering moving to our care home, but is hesitant on making the permanent move straight away, therefore a short-term stay is available.

Providing Support to You & Your Family

Finding the right care home in South Lanarkshire that’s right for you or a loved one can be a confusing place to be, as there are many care homes within the care sector that offer different types of care. It can be difficult to determine which care option is most suitable be it residential, nursing, dementia or respite that someone requires. Beechgrove Care Home is regulated by the Care Inspectorate. The Care Inspectorate is an independent regulator that inspects and regulates residential care homes and nursing homes in Scotland.

At Beechgrove Care Home, our knowledgeable team works alongside residents and their families before the admission process to determine the best care option for your loved one’s care needs. This is done by carrying out a care needs assessment and getting to know their likes, dislikes and abilities in order to develop a personalised care plan for your loved one.
