Residential Care

Residential care is a type of care given to an individual who is struggling to upkeep their household or personal regime. Many people prefer to live in a residential care facility because it provides them with security, social opportunities, and ongoing support every single day. Residents can benefit from group living while not having to worry about the hassles of everyday chores such as cleaning, washing, cooking and administrative duties. Instead, residents can enjoy private en suite accommodation and focus on the things that bring them joy while we wait on them hand and foot.

Residential care is designed to enhance residents’ social and emotional well-being. We believe that meeting more than just the basic care requirements for our residents will allow them to prosper by providing an engaging and loving environment. Our mission is to supply residents with the highest quality of life and our teams will go out of their way to make this happen.

Nursing Care

We provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals who require 24-hour medical and personal care. Nursing care is the most appropriate care option for individuals who have physical disabilities, high dependency needs, or living with long-term health conditions and illnesses.

Residents who stay at our nursing home will receive the highest standards of care and support from our professional nursing team at all hours of the day and night. We provide a pleasant setting for individuals to feel comfortable and content throughout their stay, with the option to participate in activities organised and supported by our Activities Team.

Dementia Care

Our team has years of experience working with people living with dementia. We are able to provide unrivalled, high-quality dementia care to our residents. When it comes to supporting residents with dementia care, each person has different needs and requires different levels of care which is why our dementia care programmes at our care home in Lanarkshire are tailored to each individual circumstance.

Beechgrove offers a variety of dementia-friendly activities within homely surroundings which allows residents to thrive in their environment, with plenty of opportunities for residents to explore their interests on a daily basis with the support of our loving staff.

Respite Care

Short-term Respite Care provides those caring for their loved ones with a well-deserved break from their caregiving duties. Our team of professionals will take care of your relative and ensure all health and well-being needs are met.

Respite Care is also suited to those who require some time out from their everyday life after suffering from an illness or injury. Residents can fully rest and recover in the capable hands of our care teams until they feel well enough to return to normal life. This care type can be used as a way of trialling a care home for someone considering moving to our home, but is hesitant on making the permanent move straight away, therefore a short-term stay is available.

Providing Support to You & Your Loved Ones

Finding the right care home in South Lanarkshire that’s right for you or a loved one can be a confusing place to be, as there are many care homes within the care sector that offer different types of care. It can be difficult to determine which care option is most suitable be it residential, nursing, dementia or respite that someone requires.

At Beechgrove Care Home, our knowledgeable team works alongside residents and their families before the admission process to determine the best care option for their needs. This is done by carrying out a care needs assessment and getting to know their likes, dislikes and abilities in order to develop a personalised care plan. Depending on your personal circumstances, there may be local authority funding available, so it’s advised you seek advice from your local council.
