Celebrating Mother’s Day at Beechgrove

Beechgrove Care Home was filled with love, laughter, and celebration this past weekend as residents, families, and staff came together to mark Mother's Day in true style.

In the lead-up to the special day, residents enjoyed getting creative by making beautiful handmade flowers, which were proudly displayed throughout the home. Everyone got involved in decorating the reception area and all the units, adding a warm and personal touch to the celebrations.

To honour mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and all the special women in our lives, the team at Beechgrove arranged a delightful afternoon tea for residents and their families. Freshly brewed tea, homemade cakes, and tasty treats were shared around, as families joined their loved ones for a cozy and heartfelt gathering.

As the sun set, the celebrations continued with an evening of entertainment featuring the talented and much-loved singer, Ellaine Dalls. Her performance had toes tapping and smiles all around, providing the perfect ending to a wonderful day.

The sense of community and connection was truly special, with residents feeling included and uplifted by the presence of both staff and family members. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of love, appreciation, and coming together to celebrate the people who mean the most.
