Here at Beechgrove Care Home, we have decorated our home in time for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. We have so many special celebrations planned for each day during the bank holiday weekend.

On Thursday 2nd June, we plan on welcoming all residents and their loved ones to join us in the main reception to watch the trooping the colour ceremony on TV. It’s always a delight to watch, and we hope it will well and truly get our residents feeling patriotic. Then, on Friday the 3rd of June, we once again invite our residents to watch the service of thanksgiving on the TV in the main reception, with tea/coffee served with a wee sweet delight to tickle your tastebuds.

Epson Downs Race Day takes place on Saturday the 4th of June, so we encourage you to get your glad rags on and join us to celebrate. Who really needs an excuse to dress up?! Place your bets on your favourites to win in the afternoon and enjoy our entertainment in the evening with Jack High (one of our amazing performers who like to visit us here at Beechgrove Care Home). Over the Jubilee weekend, there are so many amazing events to take part in.

Finally, on Sunday 5th June, we welcome our residents to enjoy our Jubilee afternoon high tea, complete with live music in the main reception. If the weather’s looking lovely, however, we’ll be delighted to be able to host our afternoon tea outside in our beautiful gardens. Here at Beechgrove Care Home, we try to host as many events and celebratory events at the home as possible.

We want to create an atmosphere within our home where residents and loved ones are invited to join in on the fun, and never miss a moment of the excitement. Whether we’re celebrating a big event such as the Queen’s Jubilee or Christmas, or we’re celebrating something more personal like a resident’s birthday party, nothing is ever too much. Our resident’s happiness will always remain our number one priority and we love to see residents' excitement during an event.

If you would like to find out more about our care services or the facilities we provide, please get in touch with our friendly team today who will be thrilled to assist you.
